Key Responsibilities:
Career Counseling and Guidance:
- Conduct one-on-one sessions to assess clients' career goals, strengths, and areas for improvement.
- Provide advice on career paths, education, training, and job opportunities.
Assessment and Development Plans:
- Administer and interpret career assessment tools (e.g., personality, skills, and aptitude tests).
- Create personalized development plans and action steps for clients.
Job Market Insights:
- Stay updated on industry trends, job market changes, and emerging career opportunities.
- Provide clients with relevant information on in-demand skills and qualifications.
Resume and Interview Preparation:
- Assist clients in creating and refining resumes, cover letters, and portfolios.
- Conduct mock interviews and provide feedback on interview techniques and strategies.
Workshops and Training:
- Organize career-related workshops, webinars, and training sessions.
- Deliver presentations on topics like networking, personal branding, and career advancement.
Networking and Resources:
- Connect clients with professional networks, internships, and job opportunities.
- Maintain a database of resources such as scholarships, training programs, and job boards.
Monitoring and Follow-Up:
- Track clients' progress and provide ongoing support and encouragement.
- Adjust career plans as needed based on feedback and results.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Career Counseling, Human Resources, Psychology, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
- Experience in career advising, counseling, or recruitment.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Knowledge of career assessment tools and methods.
- Familiarity with job market trends and employer requirements.
