Job Description

Construction Project (12-Month Contract)

Our client is a leading construction firm committed to delivering high-quality projects. We are helping them seeking a seasoned Procurement Manager to oversee the procurement activities for a major construction project in Saudi Arabia (Riyad).

Key Responsibilities

·         Procurement Strategy: Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with project goals and timelines.

·         Vendor Management: Identify, evaluate, and select suppliers based on project requirements. Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors.

·         Contract Negotiation: Lead negotiations with suppliers to secure favorable terms and conditions. Draft and review contracts to ensure compliance with project specifications.

·         Cost Management: Work closely with project management and finance teams to control costs and optimize procurement budgets.

·         Quality Assurance: Collaborate with the quality control team to ensure that procured materials and services meet project standards and specifications.

·         Risk Assessment: Identify potential risks in the supply chain and develop mitigation plans to ensure uninterrupted project progress.

·         Compliance: Stay abreast of local and international regulations related to procurement and ensure adherence to legal requirements.

·         Reporting: Generate and analyze procurement-related reports for project stakeholders. Provide regular updates on procurement progress.

·         Team Collaboration: Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to understand procurement needs and incorporate them into project plans.

Qualifications

·         Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field. Master’s degree is a plus.

·         Proven experience as a Procurement Manager in the construction industry, with a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience.

·         Strong knowledge of procurement processes, contract management, and vendor evaluation.

·         Excellent negotiation and communication skills.

·         Familiarity with local and international procurement regulations.

·         Proficient in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite.

·         Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
