Nurse Practitioner

As a Nurse Practitioner in a leading Doha Hospital, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality patient care and providing advanced nursing services under the supervision of medical professionals. You will assess patient health, diagnose illnesses, prescribe medications, and collaborate with healthcare teams to optimize patient outcomes.

·         Conduct comprehensive health assessments, including physical examinations, medical history reviews, and diagnostic tests.

·         Diagnose and treat acute and chronic illnesses, injuries, and conditions within the scope of practice and in collaboration with physicians.

·         Develop and implement patient care plans based on assessment findings, evidence-based practice guidelines, and patient preferences.

·         Prescribe medications, therapies, and interventions as appropriate, and monitor patient responses and progress.

·         Provide patient education and counseling on preventive care, treatment options, and self-management strategies.

·         Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams, including physicians, nurses, and allied health professionals, to coordinate and optimize patient care.

·         Maintain accurate and timely medical records, documentation, and reports in accordance with hospital policies and regulatory standards.

·         Participate in quality improvement initiatives, research projects, and continuing education activities to enhance clinical practice and patient care outcomes.

·         Adhere to professional and ethical standards of nursing practice and comply with legal and regulatory requirements.

·         Contribute to a positive and supportive work environment, fostering teamwork and professional growth.

·         Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Nursing from an accredited institution.

·         Valid nursing license and registration in Qatar.

·         Proven experience as a Nurse Practitioner in a hospital or clinical setting.

·         Advanced clinical knowledge and proficiency in nursing assessment, diagnosis, and treatment.

·         Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with healthcare teams and interact compassionately with patients and families.

·         Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.

·         Commitment to continuous professional development and evidence-based practice.

·         Knowledge of healthcare policies, procedures, and regulations in Qatar.

·         Fluency in English; proficiency in Arabic is advantageous.
