Job Description
Our client, a
forward-thinking organization in Jeddah, is seeking a highly creative and
strategic Innovation Manager to drive their innovation initiatives. The ideal
candidate will have a strong background in innovation management, project
management, and a passion for fostering a culture of innovation.
Key Responsibilities
Innovation
Strategy:
- Develop and implement innovation
strategies that align with the company’s vision and objectives.
- Identify and evaluate new business
opportunities, market trends, and technological advancements.
Project
Management:
- Lead and manage innovation projects
from conception to implementation.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams to
ensure project milestones and objectives are met.
Research and
Development:
- Conduct market research to identify
customer needs and emerging trends.
- Develop prototypes and pilot
programs to test new ideas and concepts.
Stakeholder
Engagement:
- Collaborate with internal and
external stakeholders to gather insights and support for innovation
initiatives.
- Communicate progress and outcomes of
innovation projects to senior management.
Culture of
Innovation:
- Foster a culture of creativity and
innovation within the organization.
- Encourage and support employees in
generating and developing new ideas.
Budget
Management:
- Manage the innovation budget to
ensure resources are allocated effectively.
- Monitor expenses and ensure
adherence to budgetary guidelines.
Compliance
and Risk Management:
- Ensure innovation activities comply
with relevant regulations and standards.
- Identify and mitigate risks associated with innovation projects.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business
Administration, Innovation Management, Engineering, or a related field;
Master’s degree preferred.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in
innovation management or a related field.
- Proven track record of successfully
managing innovation projects.
- Strong understanding of market
research, product development, and project management.
- Excellent leadership, communication,
and problem-solving skills.
- Fluency in English; knowledge of
Arabic is a plus.
